A fun time in FL

I think I am almost recovered from our trip to FL. If any of you are thinking about taking three little boys on an airplane when they are supposed to be in bed, give me an call and we'll talk. Here are some of our highlights from what was a great trip.

-Some quiet in the house while the boys were gone
-Lunches at the Turtle Club and Buzz's Lighthouse
-Being outside
-Walk with Amanda
-Ben & Caleb loved the park with the sand place
-The boys' new goggles from Gigi
-Playing at Drew's house
-Joe coming home early for dinner
-Being outside (did I mention that?)
-I always love swimming with the boys
-Mom, Joe, Carrie, Drew

Thanks FL family for a great week. We love you. Here are some pics. Enjoy and thanks for reading.

  1. We've been anxiously waiting for a post!! Looks like a very nice visit-the goggles are awesome. Also Caleb as Terri Irwin is high-larious!!

  2. Yeah, Caleb as Terri Irwin and Ben as the late Steve Irwin. They thought that was funny too. Also, check out Matthew as Gregg Nagel with the head phones. Amanda said that they had a photo like that of him when he was a baby.

  6. Well, only 3 days until I'm down there soaking up the rays. I hope our plane doesn't crash. My neighbor offered me vikadin (or something like that) for the next time I fly (same one who bought Davy the pink faux fur). Do you think I can take that and still breast feed?
    Yours truly,
    T

  7. According to my drug contact in the office (Bill) you shouldn't take vikadin. It wouldn't help on the plane. We also think that your neighbor might be a drug addict.

  8. Sharon said . . .Vikadin is a pretty heavy duty pain killer. It's the one that MY FRIEND's husband became addicted to/rehab etc. It would seem that it would pass into breast milk although I'm not certain.

FYI--Mom, don't put people's full names in your comments unless you want them to see it on a google search.

  9. http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic/hydrocod_wcp.htm

    Nursing Mothers

Acetaminophen is excreted in breast milk in small amounts, but the significance of its effects on nursing infants is not known. It is not known whether hydrocodone is excreted in human milk. Because many drugs are excreted in human milk and because of the potential for serious adverse reactions in nursing infants from hydrocodone and acetaminophen, a decision should be made whether to discontinue nursing or to discontinue the drug, taking into account the importance of the drug to the mother.

  10. Ex- Pharmaceutical Rep here..Vicodin will only cause you to feel extremely loopy and possibly nauseaus. Now Xanax...that's a relaxing time. I carry a half a Xanax in my purse in case of a panic attack. I've taken both for various reasons--none of which were recreational. Of course, neither would be good for Davy.

  11. alright y'all. i was joking about the vikadin comment! i do actually think it was zantac now that allison mentions it. i wasn't planning on doing it--criminy. thanks for all the advice in case I ever do get to that stage though.

  12. Tricia,
I don't think it was Zantac. That is an acid reducer. http://www.drugs.com/zantac.html

    Get your drugs straight.
