There are plenty of good shows to be seen via rent / borrow, and so much garbage over the airwaves. It just takes attention to find them. I love your book reviews. <br /><br />For what its worth, we've been enjoying the series "Foyle's War" lately. An excellent BBC murder/mystery show set in WWII.
