Last Thursday we began the process of demolishing our basement in preparation for a remodel. Amanda and the boys went to Shube's house and I finished what we thought would take the whole week in just a few days. We are all very excited about this and the new space that it will give our family. The plan is to put a new bedroom, bath and family room there. It was a fun weekend. I'm a little sore though.

I might have to make a trip out to see the final product. Sounds like I'll have my own bedroom to sleep in.

Yeah, I should have taken a picture of the dumpster. It's in our driveway and piled high with all of the remnants. We'd love to have your whole family. There will be room for all.

Man, it looks like it was quite a job! What did you do with all of the toys and the bed while you're working on it? I can't wait to see the finished project!!
All the stuff is up in the living room, boys rooms, Molly's room, or the laundry room.

Looks great! We love our new basement that we re-did this past summer. It has been a blessing! Lots of hard work though! Your bro-in-law cracks me up!

Nice work Gammons. We reworked our basement last year, it was totally worth it. I am going to start on our bathroom downstairs tonight. Good luck on the renovations.

Andy! That's fantastic! That's one thing that really bugs me about Indiana is the lack of basements! Andy and I swear that we will never buy a house w/o a basement again....Hope you guys are doing great!
