Quotes: Paint

We're painting the girls' room upstairs.  It was originally blue and we're painting it pink.  After the first coat Caleb had his doubts.  He said to Amanda,
You can still see blue under the pink.  You should have painted one coat of white and the then two coats of pink.
It's so much fun to see how each of the kids different giftednesses show themselves.  I don't know many six-year-olds who notice things like that and then even have words to articulate it.  Caleb is definitely an artist on the inside.

The next time you paint their room you will be able to cash in on these talents... I'm sure that he'll be great with a paint brush.

Also, lovin the new look for the blog.

Caleb is definitely our artist. His flames (sacrifices, fiery furnace, etc.) on his Sunday School drawings are always very intensely colored and vivid!

Also, love the new blog look/format.

Yes, Caleb is surely the observant one and has a definite artistic flair. When he was with me in Alpena he really got into helping me decorate for the 4th of July. He moved my potted mint to the coffee table on the deck because he thought "it needed something else". As you said, how many 6 year olds would even care or notice. He's fun!

Ditto on the blog set up!!
