The Lord is risen. The Lord is risen, indeed!

Happy Easter! We had a great day yesterday which capped off a great week. We talked all about the story with the boys and it seemed like they were getting it. Our hymn for the week was "Up From the Grave He Arose". You can see a pretty sweet rendition below. Our church service was great and the fam did a great job. Molly is learning to clap, so she really liked when everyone was doing that. The boys are really learning to behave so well at church. It is a huge blessing to us and we tell them about how proud we are as often as we can. Dinner at Shube's house was very good--Cornish game hens! You can see all of our pictures here.

I hope that all of you were able to be with family and worhship our risen Lord. The Lord is risen. The Lord is risen, indeed!

Yes, "Up From the Grave He Arose" is an Easter must and the Gammons trio sang it perfectly!! I love those three sweethearts and their precious sister too!

I've already watched this video 6 or 7 times and each time it brings a big smile to my face. I'm sure I'll watch it lots more. Thanks for doing it. Was Shirley leading the singing with her hands??? Ben is keeping perfect time with the music and Matthew is so sweet as he belts out "He Arose" after his brothers. Caleb gets the award for singing with the most gusto! Make sure you save this one and other hymns of the week would be great to see too.

I too was singing "Up From The Grave He Arose" all day Sunday...albeit with slightly less conviction than Caleb! Thanks for the video - the video updates are a great consolation to not alwyas being there.

Yes...(in response to Sharon): I've been trying to teach the boys to conduct a little bit. We're making progress. I love Matty's echo responses, Caleb's 4-year-old-vibrato, and Benny's octave jump up on the last note (go for the big finish, honey). Best Easter song I heard!
